As a Turkish governal policy, we do not want our girls forget about how to make rugs; so the girls in the villages are supplied looming machines, wool and of course, the knowledge how to do it .And weaver girls' home-made rugs, kilims are collected at those cooperative houses where they are exhibited professionally to visitors coming from all over the world and if anyone ends up with buying a rug, all weaver girls share that money.Without being obliged to purchase a rug, you will enjoy seeing how  silk,wool and cotton rugs are being made by skillful hands and you will be educated about the rugs' origin, meanings of their patterns and so on..

If time allows, your guide will take you to a fashion-show ,where you will experience a cat-walk ; you will watch beautiful models demonstrating the latest designs of leather goods,jackets, handbags, coats etc for Gucci, Versace and many other designers .As the workmanship and labour cost is much less in Turkey than it is in other countries, the prices are relatively cheaper than anywhere else.
